An Established Organization
Founded in 1921 as the National Association of Bank Women,
Financial Women International (FWI) is an individual
membership organization of women financial executives
that are devoted to the professional interests and advancement
of women in financial services. In addition, FWI is committed
to the continued development of Women Leaders.

FWI helps women in the financial services industry
be successful in their careers.

FWI's members include professionals from banks, finance
companies, credit unions, securities firms, thrifts,
insurance companies, consultants and service providers
in the United States, Canada and Russia.
An Education and Research Foundation
FWI created a foundation in 1973 to serve as its
education and research arm. The FWI Foundation
is a 501(c)3 corporation
that provides tools, resources and opportunities
that will benefit the individual, the industry,
and the community
at large.
